Our main research interests:
-Transcriptome analysis of porcine parthenogenetic embryos, gene expression, scRNA-Seq.
-Energy requirement, glucose and fatty acid metabolism in bovine ovarian follicles.
-Embryonic cell lineage establishment, first cell fate decisions, signalling and pluripotency maintenance for the purpose of stable embryonic stem cells derivation (cattle, pig, rabbit and mouse experimental models).
-Animal models for biomedical research (pig, cattle).
-Studies of morphokinetic changes during preimplantation embryo development.
-Quality and developmental potential of porcine and bovine oocytes: extrinsic (eg donor age and nutrition) and intrinsic factors, such as: gene expression (evaluation of transcripts and proteins), organelle redistribution, energy supply and environmental factors (in vitro conditions versus in vivo)
-Studies of morphokinetic changes during preimplantation embryo development.
-Analysis of sperm quality, fertilisation potential, mitrochondrial activity and sperm disorders in cattle, horse, dog, pig.
